Is BlackRock Running the U.S. Government?

(Tony SifertHeadline USA) The investment management company, BlackRock, which has been quietly snapping up an extraordinary number of single-family homes across the United States, has enjoyed unprecedented access to President Joe Biden’s White House, according to a report in the Epoch Times.

The Times analyzed a recent release of White House visitor logs and discovered that Thomas E. Donilon, chairman of the BlackRock Investment Institute, paid the Biden administration at least eight visits between March and November 2021.

During those visits, Donilon, former National Security Advisor to President Barack Obama, has met with officials from the White House Office of Cabinet Affairs and the National Security Council.

He also met at least four times with a shadowy figure named Kimberly Lang, a former NSC apparatchik about whom there is little official information.

According to the Times, however, Lang has hosted over 300 hundred meetings at the White House during President Biden’s term in office.

As for BlackRock’s Donilon, who has just been appointed to the State Department‘s, Foreign Affairs Policy Board (doubtless a boon to BlackRock’s Chinese portfolio), the so-called “revolving door” between the federal government and Big Business is a family affair.

His brother, Mike Donilon, a former member of notorious leftist bagman David Axelrod’s Democratic political consulting group is currently a Senior Advisor to President Biden.

Donilon’s wife, Cathy Russell, currently Executive Director of UNICEF, served as Director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office from Jan. 2021 to Jan. 2022.

Last but not least, Donilon’s daughter, Sarah, now works at the National Security Council and has hosted hundreds of visitors to the White House since her arrival.

In June of 2021, the Washington Post reported on the unprecedented nepotism in the White House.

Despite Biden’s vow that none of his own family would be involved in the government, “in the first few months of Biden’s presidency, at least five children of his top aides have secured coveted jobs in the new administration,” the Post reported.
