Kamala ‘Cupcake’ Harris Snubs Border Crisis for NJ Bakery

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) With the southern border slipping daily into increasing chaos, a Texas rancher had a question for the Biden administration: “Where’s Kamala?” referencing the vice president who is allegedly in charge of handling the crisis.

The rancher wasn’t the only one voicing frustration. Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., on tour of the southern border, criticized the Biden administration’s ineptness handling a spike in human-trafficking, sex-trafficking and drug-trafficking, which has impacted even non-border states.

“Because [President] Biden will not secure this border, every town is a border town, every state is a border state and Tennesseans are very concerned about this,” Blackburn said, as gunshots rang out behind her from the Mexican side of the border.

Earlier in the day, Fox News reported, Blackburn received a briefing from Texas Department of Public Safety officials, who have seen pursuits of vehicles filled with illegal immigrants increase by as much as 1,000% in some areas over the same period last year, as well as a significant haul of illegal drugs coming across the border.

Border Patrol has apprehended 1.1 million illegal migrants in the state of Texas alone, DPS officials said.

Blackburn’s tour included a stop at a riverine in south Texas, where she viewed unfinished parts of the border wall and met with ranchers who showed how their fences had been destroyed by the surge of illegal immigrants coming across the border.

The ranchers explained how the enormous costs of repairing the fences was left up to them, along with the cost of rounding their cattle back up and losing crops.

The ranchers blamed the crisis on the Biden administration’s failure to secure the border and questioned why they hadn’t heard anything from the likes of Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Where’s Kamala? Where in the hell is she?” one rancher asked. “How come she didn’t come down here?”

Apparently, Harris thinks it more important to visit a New Jersey bakery for cake and cupcakes instead of meeting with top Mexican officials to discuss border security.

Not that the Biden administration has any desire to seriously address the issue, in any case, opting instead to cancel the remaining construction contracts for Trump’s border security wall.

The contracts related to two sections of the border in Texas: Laredo and the Rio Grande Valley area, most recently in the news for the mayhem erupting in its backyard.

The move came months after the Biden administration cancelled two contracts that spanned about 31 miles of the border in Texas.

“Canceling construction of the border wall isn’t going to solve the Biden Border Crisis,” said Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark.

Maybe more Kamala Cupcakes are the solution.
